I was just reading an aritcle on Ars Technica about advertising in video games, I was particularly excited by a line towards the bottom of the article:

Rather than arguing that more ads are needed to make virtual worlds look more like the real one, perhaps it's time to start asking whether we wouldn't prefer the real world to be as ad-free as most virtual spaces?
